What is expected
of the sponsor
- Continuous sponsorship from the time
that he/she is first sponsored until he/she reaches the minimum school
leaving age (unless change in a sponsor’s personal circumstances make
this impossible).
- If the child’s reports indicate that
he/she is hard working and achieving good results, continued sponsorship
until he/she reaches the end of Secondary Education.
- Regular payments of sponsorship
money by standing order/direct debit so that FoTGA is always able to
provide for the child’s educational needs.
- Occasional letters giving the child
a chance to learn more about his/her Sponsor.
What is
expected of the sponsored child
·

the best of his/her ability.
- A thank you letter, however brief,
signed by the child or a parent, each year until the child reaches the
minimum school leaving age.
- From children aged 11-13, a letter
each year telling something about how he/she is progressing.
- From children in Secondary School, a
letter each term.
