COSTS OF SPONSORSHIP
Nursery School Age 3-6/7 £10 per
month
Primary School Age 7-13
years £10 per month
Middle school Age 14-16 years £15 per month
The cost of sponsoring a
child is generally less than the amount the sponsor actually pays, except at
Senior Secondary Level when costs are higher.
The balance is used for the following:- ·
Administration of the Sponsorship scheme both in the UK and The
Gambia. ·
The Salaries of our Gambian Operations Team in The Gambia. ·
Extra payments for a few children suffering exceptional hardship and
illness. ·
Continuing the education of the few children who have previously been
sponsored but whose sponsors have ceased their sponsorship. ·
To help schools in emergencies e.g. to repair damage classrooms or
provide classroom furniture. Sponsors
may wish to make other payments to either their Sponsored Child or the
child’s family e.g. a sack of rice can be delivered at the cost of £18, a
mosquito net for £5. If you would like further
