Momodou
Momodou’s
father has died and the mother is trying to feed her children but has to
rely on neighbours to help her.
With so many children to feed she will have to put their education
second but realises that this is the only way that her family can be
helped in the future

Sherifo
Sherifo’s parents
left him when he was 10 months old with his grandmother. They were supposed to go to a
neighbouring country to look for work and never came back. His grandmother cannot provide enough
food for him let alone his fees for school. He is in great need of help

Nyimasatou
Nyimasatou loves to
be in school. Her parents are in
farming at the moment but this means growing small amounts of food,
mainly to feed the family and also to sell to neighbours. This is barely enough to feed them
all. Her parents are quite old and
are worried that they will not be able to continue her education if they
cannot work. It will be a shame if
she cannot carry on.

Fatou
Fatou is a happy child and is
always pleased when her friends have a new bag and come to school with
lunch. Unfortunately her parents
cannot provide her with such things.
She desperately wants to learn in the hope that she can help to
support her family. With your help
she will be able to have a school bag, new shoes and a uniform every year
and she will have a hot meal every day
