Why is sponsorship needed?
Education after the age of 13 is not free in The Gambia.
Children selected for sponsorship usually have no parents at work or are orphaned.
What does sponsorship pay for?
School Uniforms
Books
Stationery
Money for a hot meal at lunchtime
What Sponsors receive from their sponsored child/children.
School reports.
A thank you letter or drawing from the sponsored child or from his/her family.
Sponsors may, if they wish: -
Communicate with their sponsored child/children.
Visit their sponsored child/children in The Gambia.
