Both parents are alive but poor, only the father is working as a casual worker (labourer). Lamin’s father is finding it difficult to help him continue in school.
Fatou’s father had an accident and could not move to places, the mother who is not working depends on handouts from people, this family cannot send any of their children to school for the fact that they cannot afford to pay for them. If Fatou, who has just started school, is supported she can be an asset for the family.
Ousainou lost his mother in 2007 and since been under the care of his aunt who is taking care of four other children of her own. Ousainou could support the other orphans if he is giving the education he needs to get a good job.
